It is my pleasure to welcome you to King’s College Riyadh, and to thank you for choosing our school for your child’s education.
At King’s, we provide an outstanding British international education in a warm, inclusive, and ambitious environment. With small class sizes, specialist teaching, and strong pastoral care, we support every child to grow in confidence, character, and curiosity.

Parents Handbook
Our Parent Handbook brings together the key information you need for a smooth and confident start to the school year. From daily routines and school expectations to uniform, communication, and wider school life, it is designed to help you feel informed, prepared, and ready for the term ahead.
We encourage all families to read it before the start of school.
Term Dates
Stay up-to-date with our academic calendar. Find out the start and end dates for each term, including half-term breaks and holiday periods.
School Timings
Ensure your child is punctual and ready for each school day. Learn about our daily schedules, including arrival and dismissal times.
School Drop Off and Pick Up
Drop Off
Please refer to the Parent Handbook for the designated drop-off and collection areas for your child’s year group.
Parents will be issued with a blue lanyard, which must be worn at all times while on the school site. When dropping off or collecting your child on campus, please use the school car park. To help ensure the safety and convenience of our school community and neighbours, we kindly ask that you do not park in the surrounding residential streets.
Pick Up
Parents should arrive at the school no more than 10 minutes before the end of their child’s school day. Parents are directed to park outside the school and then collect their child at the outside door of their classroom.
Campus Safety and ID Access
At King’s College Riyadh, safeguarding is a shared responsibility and the safety of every child is our highest priority.
All parents, staff, and authorised visitors are expected to follow campus access procedures at all times. Any identification or access requirements will be shared with families before the start of term to help ensure that arrival, collection, and movement around the campus remain safe, smooth, and secure.
Catering and School Dining
Healthy, balanced meals are an important part of the school day. Our dining provision at King’s College Riyadh is designed to support wellbeing, independence, and a positive sense of community.
Families will receive guidance on meal arrangements, ordering processes, and any relevant account set-up information before the start of term, so that everything is ready from day one.
Uniform Guidelines
School uniform is compulsory for all students at King’s College Riyadh. It is essential for the appearance of all King’s College students to be at the highest standard and all parents are expected to support the school’s uniform requirements.

Medical History
To ensure your child’s safety and care, we have an onsite nurse. If you have any medical questions or concerns regarding your child please contact our school nurse at medicalclinic@kingscollegeriyadh.com.
If your child takes regular medication for example inhalers or an EpiPen, the medication should be clearly labelled and given directly to the school nurse with a letter providing clear instructions detailing the dosage and time to be taken.
Parents are expected to ensure that their children are up to date with all medical vaccinations and that all relevant medical information is shared with school.

Co-Curricular Activities
At King’s College Riyadh, our co-curricular programme plays an important role in helping students explore interests, discover new strengths, and build confidence.
From sport and music to creative, academic, and enrichment activities, students are encouraged to get involved, try something new, and enjoy being part of the wider life of the school.

Joining King’s College Riyadh means becoming part of a welcoming and connected school community.
We value the partnership between school and home, and we encourage families to take an active role in school life wherever possible. Through events, gatherings, and shared experiences, parents will have many opportunities to build relationships with one another and feel part of the wider King’s community.
